Targeted Case Management
What is it? The purpose of mental health targetec case management services is to assis individuals (recipients) in gaining acces: to needed medical, social, educational and other services. Examples include:
- Psychiatrist/Medication Management
- Mental Health Services
- Locating Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy
- Locating Applied Behavior Therapy
- Guidance locating Shelters, doctors and Financial resources
- Help with applying for scholarships or Step Up Program
- Advocating for an IEP or a 504 plan
- SSI
- Locating Food Pantries
- Rental Assistance Programs
- Assistance with paying utilities
- Staffing progress with other providers (counselor or PSR)
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
What is it? PSR’s focus on restoring daily living skills necessary to thrive independently within the community Skills worked with:
- Budgeting (Managing Finances)
- Communication/Social Skills
- Educational (Time management, Focusing, Study Plan, How to apply for financial aid)
- House Maintenance
- Nutrition (Meal Planning)
- Vocational (Job seeking, Resume building)

Anger Management
Our office providers are skilled in teaching anger management techniques to assist clients with implementing skills to reduce reactivity and cope with irritability through addressing underlying triggers.
Anxiety and Depression
ADHD
Providers will educate the client and the parents related to expectations associated with this disorder. The client will be taught focus/attention skills to reduce distractibility and increase on-task behaviors.
Poor social skills
Social Isolation
Regarding disorders that revolve around individuals engaging in isolating behaviors, AGLS offers services to improve social skills, decrease negative thinking patterns exacerbating negative behaviors and desensitize the individual to possible fears associated with outside interactions.
Divorce/Separation
Family environment disruption will be addressed through couples counseling, individual sessions, and family sessions. The impact of the disruption on the children is an area of focus of this office. Services will also address emotional support for individuals having a hard time coping with their process of separation and divorce.
Parenting skills
As we offer a wide range of service for children services, parenting skills will supplement children disorder needs through improving parenting approaches of support the child’s therapeutic process.
Overcoming situation of Abuse
Whether domestic, emotional or physical abuse cases will be treated with unconditional positive regard while process of healing is dealt as a case to case basis. The client will learn the process of healing through healthy assertion of needs, learning healthy patterns of relationships and interaction.
Parenting skills
Through CBT approaches, the client will learn healthy assertion of needs, identifying triggers and eliminate or manage exposure to reduce symptoms.
